Just finished up this mixed media piece, on wood frame, using reclaimed wood, I used an old sanding disk for the red “sun”, I have a few more on the way!

I just finished up this commissioned painting for a client in Westchester, NY. The client had an interior designer who was looking for a piece 48x24 based on one of my existing paintings titled “38 degrees”. The client was very specific about what they wanted, so I made a custom frame (using some reclaimed wood) to fit the given wall space and worked off of a palette that the client gave me, I feel this painting was a success and look forward to delivering to them this weekend!

My Bro in-law Perry Yung was in town this weekend up from NYC. He is a well know Shakuhachi flute maker/ performer and studied the art for years with masters in Japan.
