If your painting does not suit you for any reason, I will happily exchange it for another painting of equal value or refund the full amount minus shipping costs within 15 days of delivery date.  See Return Policy for full details.

One Year Upgrade Guarantee

In addition, you have one year to trade in this painting and apply the full purchase cost of this painting towards a painting of higher value.

General Shipping Information:

Paintings are usually shipped within 24 hours or sometimes 48 hours after notification of payment. Unless payment was made on Friday evening, then shipping is done on the following business day.  If I post a painting that I just finished, it may need several days in order to dry enough to be shipped.

Small paintings are usually packed in USPS supplied boxes but I try to do my part in saving the Earth by recycling when I can. I hope you do not mind if your painting arrives securely packed in recycled materials. Large paintings are packed in custom made cardboard boxes.  Packages may be tracked within the U.S.

For International Shipping, items are not able to be tracked once they arrive at your country’s Customs Department. If you would like increased tracking security, please contact me to make arrangements.

The shipping rates listed on this web site are for paintings purchase through my website.  Shipping costs for commissioned paintings are determined on an individual basis. 

Shipping cost depends on the size of painting.  Paintings fall into two categories: Small and Large.  Shipping rates are shown on the item pages before checkout.

-  Small Paintings: (12.5” x 15.5” and under)
-  Large Paintings:  Anything above 12.5” x 15.5”

Shipping Carriers:
Artwork is shipped using US Post Office Priority Mail, Insured.

Tracking & Delivery Time
Orders are sent from my home in Barrington, Rhode Island 24-48 hours after payment is received.  Generally the artwork takes 2-5 business days to arrive at your door.  The day the art is shipped, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a delivery tracking number.  You can locate the package at all times using http://www.usps.com.

Outside of USA (International)

Because of postal size limitations, not all sizes are available for all countries. If it is determined that your painting cannot be shipped because of size restrictions, your payment will be promptly refunded within 7 business days.

International buyers accept responsibility for all related duties, taxes, and customs costs not included in the shipping rate.  If you aren’t familiar with your county’s import fees, please contact your local customs office as regulations for importing original art may vary from country to country.

Shipping Carriers:
Artwork is shipped international via US Priority International Mail, Insured. Actual invoice amount will be declared and insured.

Return Policy

I offer a 15 day approval period, beginning the day the art work is delivered. If, for any reason, you are not happy with it, pack it up in its original packing and return it safely. Once it arrives in good condition, I will return the purchase price in full, minus only the packing and shipping costs you originally paid. You are responsible for the cost of return packing and shipping plus you must insure the art work for its full value.

In the event that a returned art work arrives damaged, and you did not insure it in full, any costs for repair or replacement will be deducted from your refund. If the art work is damaged beyond repair, you will not receive a refund. If the art was insured in full, you will receive your refund after I have been reimbursed by insurance. If there is a difference between the original sale price and what the insurance pays, i.e. if the insurance pays less, that portion unpaid by insurance will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds will be processed as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase, a credit to the PayPal account used at the time of purchase, or in the form of a check drawn from U.S. funds for all other methods of payment. No refunds will be provided in the form of cash or in any other currency besides U.S. funds. All refund checks will be mailed to the “Bill To” address used when the order was placed.

Damaged Goods Policy

If an art work arrives to you damaged, please call or email me immediately as well as the shipper (UPS, USPS etc.) Usually, you will notice damage to the package first. Open the package while the delivery person is still there to see if there is damage to the contents. If there is, keep the box and all packaging because the shipper will send an inspector to determine if it was properly packaged, or if the damage resulted from their handling. In either case, my insurance, or the shipper will pay for the damaged piece, and you will receive a refund, or you may choose a replacement painting at the same price.
