Encaustic bees wax, oil paint and mixed media photo transfer, winter surf inspired painting. Sometimes after a winter session we head over to Aidens for a pint, hence the title "Aidens After". Working on a new series of paintings!

Been working on this one for what seems like a long time, Starting to work in larger format again, lots of layers reworking the encaustic and adding and removing layers, I actually used an old floor sander to remove areas and add texture. Trying out ideas in Photoshop helped out alot in this one, I'm happy with the results.
